What objects can I use to make music with Playtron?

Playtron uses the idea of conductivity to trigger musical sounds. Conductivity is the ability of some objects and materials to let electricity flow through them. By connecting one cable to yourself and another to a conductive object or material, you create a harmless electric circuit. You close this circuit when you touch the conductive object or material, and this triggers the musical sounds.
What do I need to play Playtron?

To use Playtron, plug it into a smartphone, tablet, Mac, Windows PC, or DAW-less synth. You might need a USB adapter that works with the included Micro USB cable. Depending on the device you connect it to, you'll also need to launch a music-making app like GarageBand or one of our free online synthesizers.
Can I use my own sounds with Playtron?

Sure! Playtron works with nearly any musical program, and the sound choice is unlimited.
Why doesn’t Playtron have a housing? Won’t it break?

Don't worry! Playtron is more durable than it looks. It is long-lasting and can withstand pressure. The bare PCB preserves the functionality of the design, enhances the eco-friendliness, and provides a DIY aesthetic.
Is the current dangerous for my health when using Playtron?

Definitely not! The current impulse is so slight that it won't affect your health. However, we don't recommend people with pacemakers to use Playtron, just in case.
Can I return the product if it's not right for me?

Of course. Try it out for 30 days. If it's not right for you, send it back for a refund - no hard feelings.
Is there a warranty if my product has an issue?

No stress - less than 1% of units ever have issues. If something goes wrong, we’ll send you a brand new replacement and cover all shipping. Just email support@soundbrenner.com and we’ll take care of the rest.
