Company foundation
Soundbrenner can be traced back to a single idea - a wearable, vibrating metronome. Our founders met in the startup scene in Berlin after graduating from university.
First prototype
We took apart an old flip phone, harvested the vibration motor and hand-soldered our first prototype.
2015
Crowdfunding for Pulse
Our vision captured hearts, raising over $150,000 USD in pre-orders on Indiegogo to kickstart our journey.
First office
We moved from Berlin to Hong Kong and opened our very own office space in PMQ, a hub for technology and design.
App launch
Our app The Metronome launched on iOS and Android, combining powerful features with an intuitive interface.
2016
Pulse shipments
After 1.5 years of hard-work, we couldn't have been more proud to hold the finished Pulse in our hands and ship it to the world!

Core shipments
We completed the development of our most ambitious product yet and manufactured over 20,000 units that shipped to more than 100 countries.
Soundbrenner Plus launch
We introduced many highly requested app features with our Plus subscription, enabling us to increase the investment in our app’s development.
2021
Minuendo earplugs launch
We became the exclusive launch partner for Minuendo, the world’s first adjustable earplugs. This partnership introduced our first third-party product and elevated the Soundbrenner shop to new heights.

Core 2 launch
We launched and shipped the Core 2. It boasts nine of the top ten most requested features, including a smartphone music remote, as well as new apps for microphone tuning and practice tracking.
Wave in-ear monitors launch
We introduced our first in-ear monitors specifically designed for musicians. Experience precision in every beat.
